The Westfjords are some of the most remote parts of Iceland. Scallops, mussels and urchins (uni) abound in the sparkling, crisp waters of the fjords.
Dive Westfjords will take you to the best sites were we can dive and collect the freshest of seafood for a beach front BBQ. Let our divemasters (and self described gourmet chefs) cook for you, delicious, Icelandic fish soup to eat by the sea.
Those Gourmet diving tours are available (subject to weather conditions) in areas such as:
- Skutulsfjörður
- Álftafjörður
- Seyðisfjörður
- Skötufjörður
- Mjóifjörður
- Önundarfjörður
- Dýrafjörður
- Arnarfjörður
Participants must:
- Be at least 17 years of age
- Be a certified diver at the level of PADI Open Water or equivalent
- Be a Dry suit diver or Drysuit experience within the last 2 years
- Bring proof of their diving certification
- Be at least 150cm tall and weigh at least 45kg
- Be physically fit
Please bring:
- Logbook with recent Drysuit Dives
- Thermal underwear (base layer)
- Thick warm socks
- Appropriate outdoor clothing ( we are in Iceland and the weather changes quickly )
- Towel
- Underwater camera
Includes:
- Transport to the dive site´s and back
