My name is Sveinbjörn “Simbi” Hjálmarsson . I am 49 years old, married with four children and live in Ísafjörður in the Westfjords of Iceland. I was born and raised in Reykjavik next to the open sea, so the ocean has always been a great source of interest and passion for me. I began my dive journey in the spring of 1996.
Today I am trained PADI Professional Instructor (#504059) with the following qualifications in Scuba Diving:

I have been working as a diving guide for numerous companies since 2001 and have taken a total of over 2000 dives in Iceland, Spain and the Red Sea. After moving to the Westfjords in 2007 I have been diving and exploring beautiful new locations all year around, which I am now offering to you as guided tours.

Snorkeling Tours. Snorkeling is available in areas such as: Skutulsfjörður, Álftarfjörður, Seyðisfjörður, Skötufjörður, Mjóifjörður, Önundarfjörður, Dýrafjörður and Arnarfjörður.
Gourmet Diving. We collect shellfish and various other edible seafood which will be cooked and eaten after the diving adventure.
Drift Diving. Diving in currents which carry you under Mjóifjörður bridge
Diving with Birds. Puffins, Guillemot and Razor bill. A snorkeling option is also available.
